Bastet (originally: Bast, also Pakhet, Ubasti and Bubastet) was a fertility goddess in Egyptian mythology, represented as a cat. In her oldest form, she could also have been depicted with a lioness head and an ankh. She is the goddess of joy, dance, music, celebration, life and warmth.
She has appeared since the 2nd dynasty and was then considered the protector of the pharaoh. She usually holds a sistrum. She can also be depicted as a mother suckling her young.
Veronese figurines are stylish works of art with a natural bronze finish and an original design finish. Every sculptor, artist or designer will distinguish an original Veronese figurine from an ordinary souvenir figurine of Chinese manufacture, thanks to a very clear elaboration of details, which is especially visible in the series of figurines of animals, as well as in the figurines of angels and Mythological Gods.
Veronese figurines come in original gift boxes and are very popular with curio collectors.
