Cybele Greek Mother of the Gods
Cybele was the earth mother and ruler of all nature. She was a Phrygian Goddess who was equated with Rhea in Greek mythology. Rhea was one of the Titans and from her marriage to her brother Kronos she fathered the Olympians Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Demeter, Hestia and the God Hades. Cybele was seen as a fertility goddess and was the protector of wild life. She was the mother of the Gods and was therefore called the Magna Mater
